①Japanese style mutton called "Genghis Khan"

This is lamb dipped in a special sauce and cooked in a special Genghis Khan pot with a raised center. People can see Genghis Khan parties along the river on holidays in Hokkaido. Unseasoned raw meat is sometimes grilled with vinegared food.

I have had this food once when I traveled to Hokkaido. It smells fantastic and the taste was so good. You should try it at least once in your life!

I guess some people know this food...?

②Seafood

In Hokkaido, much fresh fish, crabs, scallops, salmon roe, and so on can be harvested. Please enjoy the good ingredients and the high freshness. Of course, you should eat sushi but raw sashimi is also good. (My recommended restaurant is Nijo Market!).

I want you to try all kinds of seafood, but once you come to Hokkaido, you can't miss crabs. It's really good. In the town, large moving objects are placed above the entrance to the store. Let's find it!

③Ikameshi (Squid Rice)

It is used domestically produced squid and sticky/glutinous rice. The rice is wrapped in squid and seasoned. It's really good, so just try it.

Recently, this is eaten all over Japan, but it was originally born in Hokkaido. That's what it means when it spreads from Hokkaido to various parts of Japan and is eaten by many people, isn't it? It means it is very delicious.

④Sanpei-style Fish and Vegetable soup

It is a local dish of Hokkaido that is boiled with root vegetables such as salted salmon, herring, cod, and hokke. When there were no refrigerators yet, fish were pickled for preservation.

I haven't tried it yet, but I knew it was famous as a local dish where I could enjoy seafood, so I'm thinking of trying it. I want you to enjoy it, too!

⑤Sapporo Ramen

Local ramen from Sapporo, Hokkaido.It features pork bone-based soup, thick curly noodles, a tool for boiling stir-fried vegetables with soup, and the use of lard. Many restaurants mainly serve miso ramen.

Whether it's hot or cold in the summer or in the winter, I hope everyone around the world will enjoy this ramen, which is delicious in any season. I can imagine everyone eating deliciously.
